OMG! I am finally here. After nearly two days of traveling, three bus rides, and two planes later I am in Florence, ITALY! Although my back is like broken from my huge pack…it was all worth it! This city is amazing. Its so beautiful. And you know me, within two days I made so many connects: I have a VIP party promoter, a well known Italian DJ, a Mini-Mart owned by my Punjabi MC who hooks me up on the entire student discounts goods; like wine, tissue, and waters. I also met some of the most amazing traveling partners, these girls are awesome!
God has been on my side since day one. First of all I was like one of the few people out of like 50 who got their entire luggage in Pisa. So many people’s luggage got held up in Paris. I have one of the best student apartments hands down (well all the students said that). My apartment is located in the heart of the city like two blocks away from my classes; it’s newly renovated and HUGE! I tell you a little bit of prayer can go a long way. Overall my 23rd birthday was insane (to back track a little) I had an amazing going away extravaganza in NYC; with special guest appearances from all my closet and sweetest friends! Then I came to Italy and met someone here with the same birthday as me!! We rocked out last night! I was in the DJ booth on the mic! Absinth shots to that!
Anyways I start my Italian seminar class on Monday. I was going to go to Venice for the weekend for Canivale, but it’s a little late to join the group; so weekend trips it is. Spring break is in March, but we are not sure if it will be Greece or Spain? What do you think? I am having the time of my life…oh yeah without hardly spending any money! Italians Love me! (Wink wink)! Ok and all of a sudden I understand Italiano! This was a match made in Heaven. I don’t want to come home (well any time soon).I don’t have wireless, because it’s hard to find here, So I may not be posting every day, but I will try my best…LOVE YOU
