I wanted to post this picture because I was very irresolute in regards to what to think about the June cover of "The Source" magazine. At first glance I was kind of disturbed at the dramatic irony that the editors used to either intrigue readers or to deter them from purchasing the magazine. From a journalists point of view I concluded that this was not only a ballsy move for The Source, but this could potentially be a remarkable selling tactic and press opt for both parties. The cover features rapper, " The Game", who is currently facing charges in regards to a shoot out at a local park; with a gun held to his chin and his eyes shut tight as if to give the impression of suicide. This is definitely an attention getter to say the least, however only time will tell if the attention will be deemed as negative and/or positive for both The Source and Game.
