Glam posted a few weeks ago the cover of Vanity Fair's Hollywood Issue. She mentioned, and for the record she wasn't hating, just stating the evident facts, that the cover did not feature any of our Black or Brown starlets..new or old!
But no worries, because Essence magazine has their Hollywood Issue out on stands right now. And the cover is gorgeous. It features new and old talents such as Kerry Washington, Jennifer Hudson, and Ruby Dee. I was only able to take a quick glance, for my train was coming, but I'm sure my issue should be in my mailbox soon. I can't wait to see who else they feature inside. I'm sure it will be great. Don't worry, I will fill you guys in and the cover will be up here for all to see!
With that said, WE may not be on the cover of Vanity Fair, but WE got our cover either way!
