UNDER THE TUSCAN SUN!

This weekend was one of the best weekends that I have had in Firenze thus far. When you actually leave the city center and explore all that Italy has to offer, you will conquer that it is an exceptionally beautiful country. Ok so where do I begin? I guess with Friday night….I went to a huge Techno (out of date) Hip Hop club called “Central Park”, this time I went with “the girls” we all had a blast (some more than others). Loved the techno floor with my Techno Freak…IN-FEDELE!! I meet my first Italian drag queen who was dressed well in comparison to some of the females there. Loved the shiny gold leggings! I took a pic of that one.
On Saturday my roommates and I had the amazing opportunity to dine at a Mexican restaurant called Tijuana! Ok so it wasn’t authentic Mexican, I don’t even think that I saw a Mexican working there; however it was sooooooo good!! From the drinks, frozen strawberry margherita’ s and peach daquiri’s to the antipasti, which of course was Mexican as well…guacamole, and quesadillas! MMMMM, so I signed up to become a member (such a fatty). It was nice to not have pasta and bread for once! I miss New York because there is sooooo much variety.
But anyways Sunday was my Grand Finale. I GlamDOT went Hoarse back riding in a town just 45 minutes outside of Firenze; called Chianti (hence the name of Chianti Wine). Although I enjoyed every bit of it, I lost my favorite Nars lip gloss in the mist of being jostled up a mountain by a cute chocolate hoarse who was ironically named Bruta (which means ugly girl in Italian). She was so well behaved and even when we were going down the hills at like 20 miles per hour. Not only did I hoarse back ride, I got the opportunity to visit two 14th century medieval castles and then (with out needing a Benadryl and/or any other allergy meds) I was able to enjoy the beauty of the Italian country side all while enjoying some of the area’s finest vino russo and bianco (red and white wine)! It was so amazing, relaxing, and invigorating! I would love to purchase a house on the country side (as soon as the first book sells). I loved every bit of it; those memories are well worth 95 Euro!

SIDEBAR: Breaking news!!! This is why I miss the states so much. As you all know I am here in Firenze, but what you don’t know is that MONTEL JORDAN IS BACK!! I am cracking up too. The man that once had “This is How We Do It” pumping the airwaves, will be showcasing his washed up ass at YAB (You Are Beautiful) tonight! I didn’t even know he was still out. What song will he be performing? I would go and report, but there is no way in hell I am paying any amount of EURO’s to see his ass!

You are ridiculous, give the man a chance! A comeback, is a comeback! By the way I am more than sure that if he "thinks" he is returning he should know how the game looks now-a-days- and stepped his up.
