The Queen of R &B and Brooklyn’s finest are teaming up for “The Heart of the City” concert tour! Yes Mary J. Blige and none other than Hovito Baby will be launching their North-American 26 stadium tour. The tour will begin in MIA on March 22, 2008; wrapping up in May (Hopfully in Italy). According the press release the tour dates are as follows:
3/22 - Miami, FL @ American Airlines Arena
• 3/26 - Baltimore, MD @ 1st Mariner Arena
• 3/27 - Uniondale, NY @ Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum
• 3/28 - East Rutherford, NJ @ Izod Center
• 3/30 - Philadelphia, PA @ Wachovia Complex
• 4/2 - Toronto, ON @ Air Canada Centre
• 4/3 - Boston, MA @ TD Banknorth Garden
• 4/5 - Greensboro, NC @ Greensboro Coliseum Complex
• 4/6 - Washington, DC @ Verizon Center
• 4/16 - Hollywood, CA @ Hollywood Bowl
Hopefully they will come to Europe, because this is one concert that I don’t want to miss! Let’s all Cross our fingers!!
P.S Dually noted the press release confirms that "the first time in more than 15 years that African American male/female [artists] of this stature have co-headlined a national concert tour". Great announcement just in time for Black History month…Love it!!!
