It’s been a super hectic month for me, well mid November through present December. I mean between finals, finishing up with my phenomenal internship, and maintaining a rather lucrative social life, I have once again completely neglected my obligations to the Secret Journalista Society! Sorry! So what’s new? I pulled another blond move as usual and I lost my BLACKBERRY this past weekend! What an idiot! I mean it happens, but when you spend over $1000 on phones in less than year its like dude bags or phones? Thank God I backed up the device on my laptop, so my contacts will hopefully be restored. Besides mourning my loss I have been preparing for the Holidays; which will include a night on the town with the girls, and lots of family time.
Italy is literally around the corner and well so is my 23rd birthday (21 until I turn 25, then 25 until the big 30…but that’s another story). As the New Year approaches I am thinking about my new life in Florence and the potentially amazing year 2008 will be for me. I am reaching the age were every move that I make is crucial to my future career as a journalist. I am graduating in June and I am still praying that I am not one of the many college graduates with out a job, or one that has a job, but when you cash your check you feel as though you were a volunteer. If it were up to me I would spend a year or two traveling, reading, studying languages, and writing. Who wants to sponsor that? The last time I checked that was a dream, my ass needs to pay loans and only a job or sponsor can do that, so what’s it going to be? A The European experience will have to do, unless I land my dream job, which will also include traveling. The mention of the word European just brings me to the Louis Vuitton Spring 2008 collection, including the woven patent red logo tote and Naomi Cambell for Louis Vuitton; and the flirty florals of this spring’s Balenciaga collection. It’s also nice to see Marc Jacobs back and healthy again, his spring collection has a handful on handbags to die for. Maybe I did pick the right season to roam the catwalks of Italia. I was told that the outlets are worth it out there, so hopefully I can snag a one of a kind something.
Other than my insatiable appetite for fashion, traveling anxiety, and studying for finals, this Glamourista is doing just fine. I’m back at work full time, and boy can I use the money, just told you about all these spring bags! It’s almost count to T-day (Travel Day), so Ciao, we will reconvene when something exciting comes along!
