I am not sure how one could even begin to compare these two lyrists; on one hand we have the enlightened modern day shakespearian, and in the other communist evolution of a hard core gangster MC turned strip club enovater!
On the contrary to popular belief although Kanye West and Curtis Jackson are both rappers they are not of the same entity in hiphop. West has the capability of simultaneously stimulating the malnourished soul while influencing you to shake your rump on a positive note. were as 50 Cent, his counter part, only makes you want to shake you ass or in other cases sell drugs and carry illegal contraband.
If indeed rap and/or hip hop are one of todays society most affluential forms of literature, than it is safe to say that this controversy over whom is the best MC is not only a question of either rappers lyrical ability but who is appealing to the masses. Do we want our youth to only shake there ass, but to be enlightened about world issues while doing so?
Both rappers are captivating, not only in their marketing tools but in their supersonic beats, genious colabos, and whatever it takes attitudes to claim that number one spot.50 uses his celebrating for merely personal gain I.e whatever sells he will pursue, even if it is his or your soul for that matter.
Not that I don't listen to both , because u have succumbed to 50's candy shop and amusement park, however there is a time and placd for everything. With that said I wish both of them well. While both lyricist are of the same genre the message and the way it is being cultivated varies in more ways than one. When you make your purchases today are you only opting for something to stimulate your physical being or something that intrigues your entire existance?
