So I know this is super late and is possibly not even considered “ breaking news” anymore, but I just love Mary J. Blige’s new album “Growing Pains”. It’s Excellent (and I am not saying it because it’s # 1 on the charts). The Queen of R&B has done her thing once again, proving that she is the rightful owner of such a highly acclaimed title. The combination of her soulful voice, honesty, ability to relate to all audiences, and an obviously much happier Mary radiates through the speaker as I listen to the album from front to back. Some of my favs include “Shake Down” featuring Usher, “Feel Like A Woman”, and “Just Fine” or course. This is a HOT album. For more on Mary Check her out in the February 2008 issue of VIBE!!
P.S Whoever said Keyshia Cole Was the next Mary J. was on something, Mary's in a class all by herself with this one! Shit "The Way it Is" doesnt have anything on 411!LOL...I am not even going to address the Roid rumors. Mary's having a great year and I am so proud of the positive transitions she has made...GO MARY!
