Did anyone check out the 2007 American Music Awards a.k.a 2007 Counting Sheep Awards? I feel like the show was a major disappointment, and they(producers and masterminds behind the show) totally did not rep for America the way they could have. I don’t know if it was my television or the audio on the awards really sucked, but the performances could have sounded way better. I mean for a rock performance Avril was not rocking out, I have concluded that Fergie is one person that I would never pay to see live, and Chris Brown’s lip singing could have been much better! Dude Brit sounded better performing “Gimme More”! On the contrary, a mist all the other boring presentations, Miss Alicia Keys (and Mary J.) rocked the house; there vivacious and upbeat performances were amazing, and both ladies looked Fabuloso. Personally Alicia Keys was one of the best on the night (I also enjoyed Duran Duran). If you missed it last night check out how Miss Keys put reggae twist on her hit song, “No One”. It was so refreshing to hear some throw back reggae and see her vibe with the likes of Beanie Man, Junior Reid, and a host of others. If you missed check out Alicia, as she gets her two step, heel toe, and wine on!
On top of the two performances,I think that another one of the best highlights of awards ceremony was the Red Carpet. Celebrities proved that S.Dot knows what’s in, as stars came out looking glam; in bright colored hues, sparkle, and a PolkaDotLady favorite SEQUINS!
