Social Butterfly on Mute!

Back after a hectic few days! So I started my internship and I must say...LOVE IT!! its awesome I totally feel like this is a window of opportunity and the forecast is definitely bright and sunny!! I am working in the News room of course thanks to my supervisor. I mean I am a print journalism major and I love entertainment news so it all worked out for the best. And to think when I first was asked where I would like to work I was like dude where ever, I just need experience and am here to learn. P.S everything happens for a reason! So this week I start my second day, I'm just observing for now and using that incredible insight and intuition that I have to kind of feel things out.

As for my Mediterranean conquest: My complete application is in and they are reviewing it for determination!!! Well based on my grades I'm in, so lets just hope everything else went OK. I am expecting a packet in the mail to pick out my housing and classes...but don't you think that I should be doing that after I am excepted? In all honesty I kind of want to bail out (well not really). When I think about moving all by myself I get totally freaked out, but I just try not to think about it now, plus I have so many other things going on!

So I haven't seen my DOTs in a while and I am in desperate need of a reunion!!!Side Bar: I can tell that we are all super busy and that I'm doing like so much because my shoulders are soooo tense and I have no time or the funds for that matter to fulfill my massage requirements!! Way to economize Glam!!! Also with the over night transition from summer to fall I am bound to get sick! Note to self: start taking vitamins and prepare fall looks! That leads me to my next topic: don't you just love how the latest trends are combining summer and fall looks!! Less shopping, but at the same time more shopping!! This season I am determined to get an awesome trench, killer booties, and more skinny jeans, oh yeah and pencil just above the knee length skirts!! Dude I feel like all the fashionable celebs i.e Gwen Stefani, Kanye West, Pharell are obsessed with Japanese culture after they get on. Japanese have always been insane, they create looks that us Americans would not dare to try. They are in a class all my themselves, I just wish it didn't take celeb status for some of us so called fashionistas or fashionistos for that matter to realize that. OK Sidebar: wouldn't it be dope if Kanye and Gwen did a song? Or maybe even Gwen and Kelis on tour with MIA? Who do I pitch that idea to?

So Musically inclined, now that the albums are out and the polls are in who thinks my analysis of the Kanye and 50 Cent album controversy was on point? Well besides the DOTs? Kanye totally rocks and I also must say I'm hooked on that 50 and Mary joint...oh yeah 50 keep breaking it down, while I'm breakin it down! ( love that song too) It's funny how music, which is an evolving language of time, affects the masses in so many ways! If you think those two are hot, try Paramore and again Mark Ronson! I know Amy Winehouse may be passe, however her and Lily Allen are giving woman artists and Britain a great look! Their styles are impeccable. I'm kind of liking the Brit Spears Gimme More song..lol. so not just me...watch!! Ok I think I covered all my bases, TTYL!
