"Fall" Lingerie

I am still trying to keep my positive
Euro Mojo going. I'm back to this stage of putting up postings and waiting for responses from anyone who can help me. I list my postings under Experienced Stylist Assistant...I specifally say I am looking for paid work and I am looking for an established stylist to work with.

I get an email from a photographer, he doesn't state this in the email. He has a link, his work is good. His email states that he's looking for a stylist assistant and will offer a small stipend. In my head, ok..cool. I mean, I have interned for years, doing hella work for free so a small stipend sounds like a million bucks right now.

I call the dude...he explains what he has going on. Basically, he is planning a spec shoot. (FYI, a spec is when you shoot a story and send it to a publication to see if it gets picked up) The theme...lingerie...Playboy Bunny style. In my head, umm ok...I am a fabulous stylist, I can handle it. But do I really want this in my book?! Its for a German magazine...even more interesting. You know they are very open with the female body there so I wonder how much clothes the models really need? Now for the good stuff....the small stipend that is available. The grand total is........

$30...and that's USD. Not Pounds, not even Euros....USD!!!!!

Okay, its better than working for free. I guess..yeah it is. Its lunch money! Ok Im down. He lets me know what he's looking for and he mentions that he doesn't mind purchasing items out of pocket...his pocket.

Now the story has changed! He doesn't want to purchase anything. He wants to use "garments I already own". Yeah right! Like I have lingerie that I would like to lend models to wear...that's comedy. But the real comedy of this whole thing is that he want it to be a "Fall shoot". Can you please tell me what fall lingerie looks like! His email also included all of the garments he would like, but he doesn't want to feel like he is styling it. All of that is up to me...okay buddy. Its up to me to find a location, do a casting and purchase the garments. All for the whopping day rate of $30!!!

I don't know about this one. I came up with two stories and garments I might get on buy/return. But not too many places allow you to return lingerie. I don't know any locations that will give off a "fall" atmosphere. Its August and it looks and feels like it outside. His concept is confusing to me...Fall lingerie. I have my color spread together as well, but lingerie is lingerie. It doesn't come in seasons.

I'm going to have to shoot him an email asap. The casting is Tuesday! This should be___________
